Velva L. Williams, 93, precious mother of Patricia A. Kennard "Miss Pat" of Akron, OH and Evangelist Carolyn Byrd of Pittsburgh, PA transitioned to the land of endless day on Sunday at Pine Valley Care Center in Richfield, OH. Mrs. Williams moved from New York City in 2011 where she was a Kingdom citizen of Canaan Baptist Church of Christ under Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Wyatt Tee Walker.The sole survivor of four sisters, and beside her daughters, Mrs. Williams leaves one granddaughter, Maya Kennard of Columbus, OH; special nieces, Lena Robinson of Long Island, NY, Emma Buck of Jackson, MS; special friends, Rosie Adderley of New York City and Dorothy Gray of Canton, OH; a host of nieces and nephews.
