Obituary for Betty Ruth Lowe

Betty Jane Lowe, 81, of Elizabeth, W. Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 26, 2011.Betty was born Jan. 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Perry Guy and Lucy (Cline) Mace. She was a 1947 graduate of Wirt County High School, was a U.S. postal worker (mail carrier) for 14 years, former co-owner of the Theatre Restaurant of Elizabeth, W. Va., started the Cottage Grove Road Church in 1963, was former pastor and assistant Pastor and did Evangelistic work for several years. She was an inspiration of Christian living to all who knew her.She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Floyd ``Mutt'' Lowe; children, Greg (Patty) Lowe of Xenia, Ohio, Mark (Rebecca) Lowe of Palestine, W. Va., Cindy Duckworth of Elizabeth, W. Va., Cheyenne Lowe of Akron, Ohio, Mona (Scott) Barb of Medina, Ohio, and Joyce Murphy of Canton, Ohio; brothers, Jim (Peggy) Mace of Vienna, W. Va., Paul (Marie) Mace of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Sam (Beverly) Mace of Akron, Ohio; sister, Rosemary Masten of New Philly, Ohio; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents; son, Herbie Whitacre; son-in-law, Leslie Duckworth; four brothers, George, Lenard Don, Jack and Tom Mace; and sisters, Madge Adams, Hanna Hickman, Joann Mace and Dotty Newell
