Obituary for Betty Hibler
BETTY L. JONES HIBLER MINERAL RIDGE – Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Betty L. Jones Hibler, 81, who passed away Friday, Dec. 9, at Hospice House. Betty was born May 30, 1935, in Niles, the daughter of Leonard and Vada (Stegall) Jones. She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, class of 1953. Betty was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed shopping, garage sales, traveling, dancing in her younger days, dinners out, and lunch with her friends
Betty leaves her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Hibler, whom she married Aug. 22, 1953; one son, Robert Hibler and his wife, Elizabeth, two granddaughters, Chelsa and Courtney Hibler and one great-grandson, William, all of Mineral Ridge; as well as one sister, Verna Bancroft of Austintown.
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a son, William; three sisters, Edna Reeher, Marilyn White/Steveton, and Maude Jones; as well as one brother, Edward Jones.
