Funeral service for L. June Smith (nee Mast), age 89, will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake, where family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. June was born on July 27, 1927 in Ardara, PA to the late James E. and Virginia Mae (nee Miller) Mast, and passed away on November 09, 2016. June enjoyed golfing, bowling, line dancing, and staying active at the Senior Centers playing cards, but her true love was her family. June was the beloved wife of Thomas C.; loving mother of Martha June (David E.) Legg, Thomas James, and Katherine Mae (Stan) Perusko; cherished grandmother of David D. (Rebecca) Legg, Thomas E. (Jen) Legg, Michael (Kristy) Perusko, Kevin Perusko (deceased), and Daniel Perusko; great-grandmother of Dominic Perusko, Olivia Perusko, and Jemee Legg; loving companion Leo Ivec; sister of Wayne Mast (deceased), Virginia Aites (deceased), Jesse Macko, James E. Mast, Jr. (deceased), Leona White (deceased), Frannie Harkless, and Jacob Mast (deceased).
