Obituary for Rosie L Wells
Rosie L. Wells went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Rosie was born March 30, 1928 in Steubenville, Ohio to Willie and Elizabeth Henderson. She moved to Akron with her family at an early age and resided many of her years in East Akron.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, Youngstown and retired from the Ohio Western Reserve Psychiatric Center in Brecksville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Addie Richardson. She leaves to cherish her memory brother, Willie (Ella) Henderson and sister Josephine Lipford, Danville, VA. Three daughters, Mary Ensley, Sylvia (Pastor Michael) Harrison, and Crystal Williams, nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special friend Nikki Norris and Lorene Watson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the United Baptist Church, 1007 S. Hawkins Ave., Akron, OH 44320, Pastor Michael H. Harrison, Sr. eulogizing.
