Obituary for Glenn A. Keeney

Services for Glenn A. Keeney, 91, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.
Mr. Keeney passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his home. Born September 22, 1925 in Chagrin Falls, he has lived in Willoughby Hills since 1952.
He was a volunteer fireman and assistant chief for the Willoughby Hills Fire Department for 30 years and enjoyed gem cutting and polishing.
Mr. Keeney was employed as a machinist and quality control inspector at the former Ohio Gear Company/Towmotor/Caterpillar, Inc. He retired in 1987 after 44 years of service.
Survivors are his wife of 70 years, Mildred (Martin) Keeney; sons, Glenn B. (Mary) Keeney of Broadview Heights, Dennis L. (Laura) Keeney of Leroy Twp. and Allen P. (Beth) Keeney of Willoughby; ten grandchildren and their families and sister, Lillian Druen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn D. and Laverne (Facey) Keeney; brother, Howard Keeney and sister, Louise Johns.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4, 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby
