Christine O''Hara "Cricket"
Christine O''Hara, 94, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016.
She was born in Cartersville, Ga. on March 4, 1922. She was the third child born to James and Cliffie Mae Fletcher, and the last survivor of 12 children.
Christine was married to Willie Leon O''Hara for 37 years until his passing. She attended Israelite Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Carrie Graise, Louise Strickland, Clara Thompkins; and brothers, James, Charles, Bayless, Leeman, Albert, Paul, Joe, and Eugene Fletcher.
Christine is survived by her children, Pamela (Dell Syas), Willie Leon Jr. "Billy" and Michael (Mia) O''Hara; grandchildren, Tracy, Lanae, Carmen (Daryl), M''Bwebe (Licia), Paris (James), William III, Qiana (Peter), Bryson, Ashanti (Marvin), and Shaquille; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Cynthia (Eric) Bush; sisters-in-law, Joyce and Marva Fletcher; and a host family and friends.
Friends may call on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd., Akron, OH 44320. Service will immediately follow, Rev. Patricia White-Monday, eulogizing. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. Thank you to the American Cancer Society.
