CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Lois Mae Cutting (nee Platt), 90, passed on Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born May 9, 1926, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and resided in the area for most of her life. She was an active member at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Marie Burkett, and husband of 57 years, Harry; she is survived by daughter, Christine (Cutting) and John Sim of Cuyahoga Falls; son-in-law, John Burkett of Akron; grandchildren, Shannon (Craig) Garske of Akron; Rochelle Hose of Akron; Dawn (Gary) Bishop of Green; Jessica (Andrew) Jackson of Tallmadge; Angela (Matthew) Walder of Bellefonte, Pa, and Andrew (Kristina) Sim of Charleston, S.C.; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Platt; nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
