Obituary for Richard Lynn Kraus
RICHARD LYNN KRAUS
MINERAL RIDGE – Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Richard Lynn Kraus, 72, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, at St. Elizabeth Health Center Main Campus.
Richard was born June 5, 1944, in Salem, the son of Richard Joseph and Dorothy (Ashman) Kraus.
He was a lifelong area resident and a Catholic by faith. Richard was a loving son. He enjoyed being around people and loved talking to them and giving hugs. He was very thoughtful of everyone and always used please and thank you. Family time was very important to him. He also enjoyed talking on his CB and watching TV.
Richard leaves his mother Dorothy Kovacs of Austintown Township; two brothers, Scott (Halle) Kraus of Washington D.C. and Robert Kraus of Wellington, Fla.; one sister, Robin (Jim) Tarr of Twinsburg; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, where services will be held at 1 p.m.
