Edward Patriarca, age 82, beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Gergely); loving father of Marie Niebes (husband Ronald), Donna Barille (husband Richard), Edward A., Sr. (wife Sally), Christine Foster (husband Peter) and Anthony (wife Allison); devoted grandfather of Nick and Kevin Niebes, Danielle and Joseph Barille, Edward A., Jr and Alyssa Patriarca, Cody and Connor Foster; cherished son of the late Antonio and Carmella (nee Rocco) Patriarca; dearest brother of Dorothy Dawson (husband Dennis, deceased) and Mary Melocik (husband Edward, deceased); dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
Edward was born on September 18, 1934 and passed away on September 18, 2016.
Edward attended from John Adams High School and was the Owner/Operator of Hillcrest Ambulance. He has lived in Chesterland since 1974, previously residing in Highland Heights. Edward has been a member of St. Anselm Catholic Church since 1974. He enjoyed playing golf, watching the Browns, Indians and Cavs and traveling, especially to Aruba and Florida. Edward got the most enjoyment in life from his kids and family. He will be remembered as a kind gentleman, a hard worker and a friendly, outgoing and trustworthy person. Edward was very likeable, had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Relative and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026 at 1:30 p.m. Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ed at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Celebrations Center of Chesterland, 12811 Chillicothe Road (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory following visitation.
