Patti J. Smart Patti J. Smart passed away September 1, 2016. She was born March 25, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thigpen and Emma Smart. She graduated from East High School and retired from the Warrensville Development Center after 32 years of service. Patti loved to read and complete cross puzzles. She was a foodie who enjoyed dining out and delighted in the area restaurant scene. When her health permitted she would attend the retiree luncheons. She was a knowledgeable person and could carry on a quality conversation. Patti was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joyce. To forever cherish her memory, Dorothy Daniels, Lecrecia Knox and Louise Smith; and a host of family, friends and coworkers. Friends may call on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd., Akron, OH 44320. Service will immediately follow. Internment Mount Peace Cemetery.
