CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Thelma J. Hazell, 78, passed away August 11, 2016. She was born and grew up in Akron, graduating from North High School in 1955. After meeting her husband on a blind date they married and resided in Cuyahoga Falls, where they raised their family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Mable Hardy; sister,
Marilyn Payton; she is survived by her husband, Stan R. of 59 years; sons, Scott and Kent (Amy); and niece, Beth (Jeff) Neiger.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 4 p.m. funeral service on Sunday August 14, 2016 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday August 15 at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park 2613 Sackett Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223.
