"Together Again"
Services for George A. Moberg, 71, of Willoughby, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, prior to the service.
The Rev. Michael J. Currier will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the service.
Mr. Moberg passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Hospice House in Cleveland. Born May 4, 1945 in Omaha, Neb., he has lived in Willoughby for most of his life.
He was a United States Navy veteran and enjoyed rescuing dogs from the Ohio Bassett Hound Rescue.
Survivors are his "favorite" daughters, Debbie (Jody) Lutz and Dawn (Ronny) Hogan; grandchildren, Xavier, Erin, Carter, Oshai and Chase; brother, Jim Moberg and sister, Connie (Michael) Gomes-Figueira. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy, in July, 2012. His parents, Burdette and Bernice (Toy) Moberg are also deceased.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to dad''s favorite nurse at Hospice House, Sharron, for her special care and compassion.
