Obituary for Robert W Graff

ROBERT W. GRAFF AUSTINTOWN - Robert W. Graff, 84, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday evening, Aug. 14, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, with his family by his side. Robert was born June 19, 1932, in Orlando, W.Va., a son of the late John and Ersie McCauley Graff. He was a 1950 graduate of Burnsville High School in West Virginia, and came to Youngstown in the mid-1950s. Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War, and was stationed in Norfolk, Va. He worked as a welder for 42 years with the former Greif Bros. Corporation in Youngstown, retiring in 1997.
Mr. Graff enjoyed fishing, and hunting on his property in West Virginia. He was a sports enthusiast and a fan of the Cleveland pro sports teams, and he especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Bob leaves his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Pulliam Graff, whom he married Dec. 3, 1957; three daughters, Debbie Rouzzo (Dave Landrum) of Austintown, Barb (Joe) Sanfilippo of Austintown, Janie (Brian) See of Hudson; his son, Bobby (MaryAnn) Graff of Boardman; nine grandchildren, Lindsay (Jeremy), Marissa (Mike), Matthew (Angela), Kristen (Nick), Dante, Kyle, Austin, Aubriana, and Adam; three great-grandchildren, Gianna, Makenna, and Justin; a brother, Dick Graff of Burnsville, W.Va.; and two sisters, Betty (Kenny) Pulliam of Barberton and Patty Cobb of Doylestown. A brother, Gary Brown, preceded him in death. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home, Thursday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. Committal services will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
