Obituary for Jose V. Guerra

Jose V. Guerra, 82, peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2016, at CareOne Health Care in Holyoke, MA. Mr. Guerra was born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico on February 15, 1934, son of the late Vicente and Francisca Jimenez Guerra. He is survived by sisters, Natividad Guerra and Flor Maria Guerra of Puerto Rico and Carmen G. Perez of Ansonia as well as several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Hector Guerra and a sister, Ramona Guerra. Visiting will take place on Thursday August 11, 2016, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 11:00 am, a funeral service in celebration of Jose’s life will take place. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
