Obituary for Peter J. Aquila

Peter J. “P.J.” Aquila, 44, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on August 7, 2016. Peter was born in Derby on April 3, 1972, beloved son of Peter V. Aquila Jr. (Donna) of Seymour and Marilyn DiRienzo Kronick of Shelton. He was employed by the City of Bridgeport Port Authority. P.J. was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, especially Alex Rodriguez. He had a love and passion for singing and for the Beatles. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his former wife, Christine McQuillan Aquila of Oxford, a loving son, Peter V. Aquila III of Oxford, loving daughters, Jude Marie Aquila of Ansonia and Jada Lynn Aquila of Oxford, brothers, Joseph Menna (Brooke) of Branford and Jonathan Kronick (Bethany) of Shelton, sisters, Leanne Aquila McKenna (Michael) of Derby and Marissa Aquila Blundell (Shane) of Arlington, MA, paternal grandfather, Peter V. Aquila Sr. of Shelton and loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday August 12, 2016, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral at 10:00 am (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at Orange Congregational Church, 205 Meeting House Lane in Orange.
