Obituary for Margaret M Bard
Margaret M. Bard (nee McCoy), age 89, of Eastlake, passed away on July 30, 2016. She was born in Cleveland, on January 20, 1927, to the late Harry and Belle McCoy.
Margaret was a long time employee of the Willoughby-Eastlake School District and Precision Honing Co. in Eastlake. She loved spending time with her entire family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin who will be greatly missed by many.
Margaret is survived by her children, Tim (Donna Miller) Bard, Jean (Frank) Halerz, and William Bard; her grandchildren, Donald "Casey", Brian, Carrie, Jennifer, Catherine, Trish, Eric, and Nadine; her 9 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jim, Tom and Jack; and sisters, Geraldine, Ella, and Kathleen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Bard; her son, Donald P. Bard; and her sisters, Patricia, Betty, and Cecelia.
Visitation for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, at 10 a.m. at Monreal Funeral Home, followed by burial at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
