Obituary for R Shane Morris

R. SHANE MORRIS CANFIELD - Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road in Coitsville for R. Shane Morris, 37, who passed away early Monday morning at Hospice House of Poland. Shane was born Aug. 23, 1978, in Youngstown, a son of Dana Morris and Jennifer Wolfe, and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Canfield High School in 1997 and had attended the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 396, becoming a certified pipefitter. Shane had worked as a sanitary engineer and pipefitter for Gettemy Drain Service. He was a member of the Victory Christian Center and attended the Real Living Ministries, where he was a part of their worship teams.
He loved music and the outdoors, but most important to him was his family. He leaves his wife, the former Amanda Savon; his four children, Jonathan Prentice, Hannah Morris, Rebeccah Morris and Isaiah Morris, all at home; his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Larry Wolfe of Austintown; his father, Dana Morris of Canfield; three sisters, Eleisha (Brandon) Smith of Rittman, Ariel Morris of Salem, and Erika Morris of Wadsworth; his in-laws, David and Lauren Savon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Erin Savon, all of Salem; five nieces; and five nephews. Shane was preceded in death by an infant son, Gabriel Morris. Friends may call on Saturday at the Victory Christian Center from 9 until 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amanda for the temporary support of Amanda and their children. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
