Obituary for Betty Bogert
Betty Bogert (nee Shelor), 84, of Wickliffe, passed away in her sleep July 31, 2016.
She was born August 4, 1931 in Blacksburg, Va., and had lived in Wickliffe over 50 years. She worked at Westinghouse.
She was a huge fan of the Browns and an avid golfer. She coached girls basketball at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and girls softball for the City of Wickliffe for many years. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Betty is survived by her children John (Sandra) Bogert, Lorraine Coyne, Andrea (Ray Pawlowski) Byrne, Marcia (Mark) Littleton, Daniel (Paola) Bogert, Tama (Randy) Bogert; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister Mary Adams.
She was preceded in death by her son Raymond Bogert; grandson Ryan Bogert; and former husband Robert Bogert.
A funeral will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe.
Calling hours are Friday, August 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
