Obituary for Charles E. Dampeer
Charles Dampeer 74, went home to be with the Lord July 11, 2016. At Akron General Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Pinola Mississippi. Charles lived in this community for over 60 years.
He was employed at Atlantic Foundry for over 22 years until they closed.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Plez and Lola Dampeer; sisters, Irene Weary, Alma Dixon, Irma Sewell; brothers, L.V., L.W., L.D., Sheldon, Lonnie, Clyde, Donny Dampeer; son, Marvin Edward Dampeer.
He is survived by wife Mary Helen Dampeer; sons, Charles Jr., Tony (Janet), Terry, Darrell, Darryl; surviving sister, Helen Lockhart; 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews all who reside in Akron, Ohio.
