Obituary for Mary C Brunton

MARY CATHERINE (FEE) BRUNTON AKRON - Mary Catherine (Fee) Brunton, 81, passed away after a brief illness at the Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, Justin T. Rogers Care Center. Mary was born on May 7, 1935, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Frances “Babe” (Quinn) Fee. Mary was a 1953 graduate of New Castle High School. Mary was joined in matrimony to the love of her life, the late Samuel Glenn Brunton, also of New Castle on Jan. 31, 1962, and moved to Niles in 1964.
Mary’s hobbies included sewing and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mary was preceded by her husband; her parents; and her siblings, Thomas J. Fee, Ambrose Fee, Gerald Fee, James Fee and Charles Fee.
Mary leaves in cherished memory, her children, Eileen Brunton Nitzsky (Jeffery W. Sr.) of Girard, Samuel Scott (Stacy) of Mineral Ridge and Elaine Curcio (Richard) of Stow; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She is also survived by her siblings, Rita (Malcolm) McGarth of Kingsport, Tenn., Frances Skinner of Phoenix, Patricia (Alex) Csiszer of Orange, Calif., Terry (Betsy) Fee of New Castle, Michael (Thay) Fee of Kaneohe, Hawaii, John (Beverly) Fee of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Helene (Edward) Pavlov of New Bedford, Pa.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, at St. Mary’s Church in Mineral Ridge.
