Obituary for Frank Stefanka

Frank Stefanka CUYAHOGA FALLS – Frank Stefanka, 82, passed away May 30, 2016. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 59 years. Frank served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. retiring after 48 years of service. Frank was a member of the Foresters, the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, the Summit County Genealogy Society, the Fish and Gun Club and was captain of his bowling team. He enjoyed traveling and visited most of the states, Canada, Central and South America, Asia and Europe. Preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Wright, Josephine Larrison and Irene Steharsky; son-in-law, John Doulilis; he is survived by his wife, Helen of 56 years; daughters, Janice Doulilis and Jacquelyn (Mike Hammer) Stefanka; sister, Helen Steharsky; brother, Joseph (Verona) Stefanka; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial calling will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3.
