Obituary for Helen Bodiak

Helen Bodiak, an 88 year old lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest June 15. She was born August 7, 1927, daughter of the late Dimitro & Mary Nester Bodiak. She was a graduate of Ansonia High School, Class of 1945 and was a member of The Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church. Helen was employed in the family business, the former Bodiak’s Grocery Store. She was predeceased by her sisters Julia Krizan & Sally Holbink. She is survived by nephews Lawrence Krizan & wife Pina of Spring Hill Florida, Leonard Krizan & wife Susan of Shelton, James Holbink & wife Barbara of Chester and niece Sue Ellen Holbink of Fall City Washington State. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
