Obituary for Claudia Bell

Claudia Warren BellTHEN NOWOn June 6, 2016 our Father God embraced Claudia Warren Bell and told her job well done my faithful servant come home.Claudia was born on December 10, 1912 to the late Claude Glover and Lillie Jackson (Calvin) in Haddock, Georgia.She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was baptized at an early age. She was united with Freewill Methodist Church, then Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, under the late Reverend Roy Gary, where she was a faithful and eager worker for many years. She recently became affiliated with Worship Cathedral Inc. under the leadership of Apostle Terrance N. Bivins.From the union of Wade H. Griffin (predeceased) she had two children, Daisy and Juanita (predeceased). She united in holy matrimony to Samuel Warren in 1947 and Robert Bell in 1984; both preceded her in death. Her sisters, Clara Belle Harris and Editha Price; grandson, Tyrone Williams and son-in-law, James M. Williams, Jr., also preceded her in death.She leaves a legacy of five generations to celebrate her life: daughter, Daisy B. Williams; grandchildren, James Williams III, Jacqueline (Samuel) Glinn, Wade Williams, Eugenia (Michael) Morris, Valerie (Terrance) Bowen, Vernetta (David) Taylor, Joseph Williams, Annette (Deen) Amode, Colitta (Karl) Shadie, Coletta (Wayne) Vorise and Dante Williams; she also leaves 33 great-grandchildren; 47 great-great-grandchildren and two (one on the way) great-great-great-grandchildren; special great-nephew, Terrance (Sheila) Bivins; Godchildren, Rowena Harris-Coker and Georgia Merriweather; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.Claudia was employed by John and Connie Cavileer of Cavileer Olds for over 30 years. Although her name was Claudia we all affectionately called her Claude because she never liked the word granny, grandma or nana because she was too young to be called any of those names. She had a heart of gold, tempered with fearless but a faithful gentle soul. She will be remembered for her great cooking and tell it like it is honesty. Rogers Hospice Care Center.Forever Elegant Forever Young Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 12 noon at New Hope Baptist Church, 1706 South Hawkins Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320. Family will recieve friends from 11 a.m. until time of service, Apostle Terrance N. Bivins, Eulogist. Interment held at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1239 Niagara Ave., Akron, Ohio 44305
