Obituary for Roger E Csanyi

  Roger E. Csanyi, 69, a lifelong resident of Chester Twp, passed away at Euclid Hospital on May 28, 2016. He was born November 24, 1946 in Cleveland. Roger was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He earned a Bachelor''''s Degree in Computer Science and a Master''''s Degree in Education from Kent State University. Roger was an adjunct faculty member at Lakeland Community College, Bryant and Stratton, and Kent State University where he taught computer classes. Roger was a member of the VFW, Valley Lutheran Church in Chagrin Falls, and a former member of the Chester Twp. Fire Rescue. He also enjoyed fishing, working with computers, and coaching his sons in the West Geauga Baseball Federation, where he was at one time Commissioner of the league. Roger worked in the I.T. Dept. for Towmotor-Caterpillar in Mentor for 23 years, and later taught Information Technology at Euclid High School. He is survived by his wife Judy; daughter Kelly Warner; sons Steven (Nicole Kralka) and Adam (fiancé Tara White); and grandchildren Payton and Fiona. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Alice Csanyi.
