Obituary for Thomas Sr. Egolf
Thomas W. Egolf Sr., 51, passed away suddenly at his home on December 4, 2015. He was born on October 5, 1964 in Youngstown, son to Gerald L. Sr. and Patricia L. (Lisko) Egolf.
Tom was a 1983 Austintown-Fitch High School graduate.
He worked for Superior Walls for many years until they closed and he began to work for O''Neil Awnings. Tom enjoyed working in his garage and going to garage sales. He was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan and he enjoyed golfing every Saturday with his best friend, Dave Kergan.
Left to carry on Tom''s memory are his children, Thomas W. Egolf Jr. of Austintown, Brandon G. Egolf of Youngstown, and Emma Repula of Austintown; his mother with whom he made his home, Patricia L. Egolf of Austintown; his sisters, Kathy (Gerry) Bowman of Lisbon, and Janine Fogleman of Struthers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Gerald L. Egolf Sr.; his brother, Gerald L. Egolf Jr.; and his sister, Diane McCracken. The family will receive friends from 4PM-7PM on Monday, December 7 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. A funeral service will follow at 7PM. Inurnment will take place on a later date at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
