Obituary for Charlotte Antoinette Glor Campbell

Charlotte Antoinette Gloria Flemister Campbell, 82, of 313 Silver Hill Rd, Derby, CT entered peacefully into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was the seventh of eight children born on September 16, 1933 in New Haven, CT to the late Henry King Flemister and Mary Kilgore Flemister. Charlotte, affectionately called “Pookie,” graduated from Branford High School and attended Southern Connecticut State College. She was married to the late Donald H. Campbell, Sr. In 1994, Charlotte retired from the United Illuminating Company. Charlotte is survived by her children, April Campbell (Alexandria), Donna Campbell, Donald H. Campbell, Jr., Jonathan Campbell (Arlene) and Adolph Campbell; grandchildren Michael, Zachary, Javon, Caitlyn, Dominic. Charlotte was preceded by brothers Henry Jr, Emory and Adolph Flemister; sisters Rose Anderson, Elizabeth Hood, Dorothy Moore and Jayne Leigh. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. ­7:00 p.m. pm at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT. Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home Saturday, May 28, 2016. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia, CT. Flowers and well wishes should be sent to the funeral home
