Obituary for Linda M Haefke

Linda M. Haefke, age 67, of Austintown passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center following a long illness. Born September 29, 1948 in Ayer, Mass.; she was the daughter of Robert and Irene (Campbell) McDowell.
Linda was a member of the Youngstown-Salem USBC Women''s Bowling Association for nearly 40 years; she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012. She won many tournaments, held several offices, and belonged to several leagues over the years.
Her family was everything to her, she loved her children and grandchildren and loved spending time and baby-sitting them. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, James F. Haefke; children: Tammy (Bill) Diver, Teri (Chad) Haefke, and Jimmy (Jackie) Haefke; grandchildren: Kala (Cody), Zack, Raelynn, Devin, and Katelynn; great-grandson Tanner; sisters Patricia (Jim) Ramsden and Roberta Pelletier, a brother Richard McDowell; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marjorie Wright.
Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, where services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1:00PM. Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
