George D. Wolfe
George D. Wolfe, 91, passed away February 18, 2016 at Hospice of Medina County.
Born in Warren, he lived most of his life in Akron and retired to Cape Coral, Florida.
George was a graduate of Lordstown High School and retired in 1988 with over 41 years of service at Ohio Edison. He was a life member of the Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 F&AM and enjoyed golfing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents, William Wolfe and Rhoda Geuss; and grandson, Kent Wolfe.
George is survived by his daughters, Carole Monteith of Randolph, Sue (Rick) Rodgers of Norton; son, Donn Wolfe of Cleveland; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. February 21, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Sue Rodgers officiating, where Masonic Services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
Inurnment will be at Chestnut Hill.
