Nadine RoebuckNadine Hamilton Roebuck, 68, affectionately known as "Deena", was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.She transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, April 28, 2016.Nadine was presented as a gift on September 2, 1947 in Detroit, Mich. to Carrie Lee Taylor (birth mother), Otis C. and Emma Laura Hamilton (stepmother).Nadine had a winsome personality and made friends easily. She was a licensed practical nurse and often did private duty nursing. Deena was a faithful member of First Apostolic Faith Church.On August 16, 1991 Nadine married the love of her life, Ralph Roebuck Jr. They were married for 24 years.Nadine loved writing poetry, cooking, shopping and decorating. Nadine was a classy dresser. Every Sunday she wore her suit with her matching hat, gloves, purse, and shoes.On May 2, 2015 the Lord gave Nadine a special gift of reuniting her with her daughter, Esther "Nicole" Townsend.Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; uncles, Charles and Eddie; and her cousin-sister, Dorothy Hale.Left to cherish her memory are, her devoted husband, Ralph; loving daughter, Nicole (Tony) of Massillon, Ohio; siblings, Bernard Otis Hamilton, Mervie Denise Rice (Ricardo Rice and Johnny Price) and Benita Rosa Hamilton of Detroit, Mich.; devoted stepdaughter, Lisa Roebuck; stepson, Ralph (Amber) Roebuck of Akron, Ohio; stepdaughter, Tina (Fernando) Rabb of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Tonia and Tony Townsend of Massillon, Ohio, Hunter Roebuck West of Cincinnati, Ohio, Christian Emmanuel and Kingston Roebuck of Akron, Ohio; special niece, R. Maria Blackmon of Atlanta, Ga.; special friends, Quilla Lewis, Myra Jackson and Fedearia Nicholson of Akron, Ohio; god daughter, Shericka (William) Ford of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a host of other relatives and friends.Friends may call on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with service to immediately follow at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Road, Akron, OH 44320, Dr. Robert Johnson eulogizing.
