Obituary for Lee E Loutzenhiser

LEE EMERSON LOUTZENHISER AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Lee Emerson Loutzenhiser, 95, who passed away Thursday, March 31, at his home. Lee was born March 4, 1921, in Snover, Mich., the son of Roy V. and Lidia (Kelly) Loutzenhiser.
Lee was a plant superintendent and worked his way up to manufacturing representative, with General Motors Chevrolet Division and retired in 1975 after 28 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served his country during World War II, where he received the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with one Bronze Star. Lee was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge No. 2153 in Port Charlotte, Fla., as well as a volunteer for AARP and VITA tax programs.

Lee leaves his wife, the former Esther May Albaugh Fry, whom he married Nov. 1, 1975; five children, Mary Lee and Janie Loutzenhiser of Clarkston, Mich., Kathy Eanni of Eureka, Calif., Leland Loutzenhiser of Clark, Pa., and Paul Loutzenhiser of California; two stepsons, Robert Fry of Maryland and Gary Fry of Kentucky; one sister, Wanda Lee of Marysville, Mich.; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Lee was preceded in death by one son, Larry Loutzenhiser; four brothers; and two sisters.
