Obituary for Lorraine Wheeler Bartholomew

Lorraine E. Bartholomew, wife of the late Stanley Bartholomew and resident of Bethany passed away March 15 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born Oct. 20, 1929 in Derby daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Solgar Wheeler. Lorraine was a member of the Woodbridge Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ Woodbridge, CT. She leaves her son Wayne Bartholomew of Elgin, TX., daughters JoAnn Bartholomew of Galveston, TX., Heather Lombardi of Wallingford, CT. sister­in­law Edwyna Bartholomew of Branford, 6 grandchildren and 3 nephews & 2 nieces. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, located at 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Friends may call 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
