Obituary for Clarence J. Overbaugh

                                                                                                                                                                         Clarence J. "Bunky" Overbaugh, 84, of Eastlake, passed away on March 10, 2016. He was born in Bridgeport on November 29, 1931 to the late Charles and Helen Overbaugh. Bunky had always been a hard worker his entire life. He worked as a sheet metal worker for Conrail for 33 years before retiring in 1989 at the age of 58. Although Bunky had many hobbies including all kinds of art, his favorite was to create woodworking art. Many of these had become Christmas gifts for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His favorite times being spent on walks with Laura, family picnics, holiday get togethers, fishing, and especially fishing trips to Canada. Bunky will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bunky was the devoted husband to Laura Overbaugh for 64 years; the loving father to Karen (Richard) Basista, Raymond (Frances) Overbaugh, and Laurie (Gary) O''Neill; the proud grandfather to Nicole, Bryce, Richard, Joseph, Timothy, Bryan, Maria, Melinda, Jack and Shannon; a great-grandfather to 16, and an uncle to many. He was preceded in death by his daughter Diana Pachay; his grandson Michael Pachay; his brothers Charles and Kenneth; and his sisters Charlotte and Jenevieve. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 32410 Willowick Drive, Willowick, OH 44095.
