Obituary for Timothy G Knisley

TIMOTHY G. KNISELY YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Green Haven Memorial Gardens for Timothy G. Knisely, 69, who passed away Saturday morning at his home. “Tim” was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Youngstown, a son of the late Creston and Emily (Purnell) Knisely.

Tim graduated from Jackson Milton High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Baird Brothers and was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed making clocks.

Tim leaves his wife, the former Joan A. Shelley, whom he married July 24, 2004; his stepmother, Roxanna Knisely of Florida; a brother, James Knisely of Lake Milton; his children, Nicole and Timothy; his grandchildren; his sisters-in-law, Norine (Ted) Gabler of Youngstown and Kathleen (Joseph) Futina of New Hampshire; many nieces and nephews; and his two cats, Tigger and Princess.

Family and friends may call from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Wounded Worriers or Animal Charities. Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
