Obituary for Richard A Mallory

RICHARD A. MALLORY AUSTINTOWN - Richard A. Mallory, 84, died on March 2, 2016. He was born on Oct. 5, 1931, the son of Dr. Lloyd and Mary Ann (Williams) Mallory, in Youngstown. Richard owned RAM Plastics in North Lima for 40 years. He was a member of the Austintown Community Church and Youngstown Country Club, where he enjoyed golfing and playing cards. He loved his yearly family vacations in Deep Creek, Md. Richard loved and adored his family very much.
He enjoyed the moments and time he spent with them. Richard is survived by his wife, Ellamae.
They were married 63 years. Other survivors include his children, Kim (Sam) Amendolara, Scott (Lori) Mallory, Amy (Doug) Shaffer, Laurie (Joe) Keller, and Stacie (Terry) Helminiak; his grandchildren, Chase, Mallory (John David), Taylor, Jacob, Kaitlin, Samantha (Kevin), Katie, Laine, Michael, Bree, Cassie, Hunter, Magie, Callie, and Tessa; his great-grandchild, Adelynn. Also surviving are Jill, Pat, Kelsey, Jenny, and Jack Bresnahan, and Jeff, Jen, Alec, and Mya Hamilton, who Richard considered children and grandchildren of his own. . Richard’s family would like to thank the caregivers at Austinwoods and First Light for their wonderful care of their father. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Austintown Community Church. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, March 3, 2016, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. Family and friends may also call at the church, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday.
