DerNard Pierrie Walton, Jr. was born to parents Sashe Moore and Dernard Walton on January 27, 2016 at Akron City Hospital. Weighing 4 pounds, 13 ounces and 18 inches long. Just an hour after coming into the world Dernard Jr. passed away into the arms of his loving family. During his brief time he touched many lives and was loved by friends and family. “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
DerNard Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memory sisters, Amya Walton and Journey Hargrove; brother, Jeremiah Mullen; grandparents, Melba Moore, LaTia Walton of Dallas, Texas, Evin(Felicia)Moore of Detroit Michigan; great-grandmother, Erma Henderson; aunts, Kamesha, Aubree, Madison Moore, Dasiza Bell, Destinie Edwards, Shenequa Bickley,Towanda(Allen)Thomas, Keysha(Troy)Hancock of Columbus, OH; Great-great aunt, Brenda (Ronald) Mahone. And a host of cousins, family and friends.
Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery.
