Obituary for Sr. Erick Hunt
Erick Stephen Hunt, Sr.Erick Stephen Hunt, Sr. born in Akron, Ohio on June 23, 1968 to Annie Harris and the late Robert Brandon. Erick was an active member of the Providence Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Vincent Peterson. He had recently participated in the start of the "Christians in the Crosshairs" ministry. Erick was an ordained deacon and minister fellowshipping with the Providence Baptist Church.He enjoyed coaching football, being a DJ – or anything pertaining to music being a grandfather; he enjoyed his grandchildren and was a hands-on grandfather teaching them what he loved to do; working with his hands fixing things and he would always do what he could to help someone.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister, and two uncles and leaves to honor and cherish his memory; loving wife, Chinille; mother, Annie Harris; sons, Erick Hunt, Jr., Evander Gibbs, Courtney Little of Akron, Ohio and Jemari (Tyler) Little of Lakenheath, England, daughters; Mariah Delaney of Alabama, and Jessica Little of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Willie Harris of N. Carolina, Wilmo (Patty) Hunt, John (Alisa) Hunt, Ronnie (Rhonda) Hunt, and Jerome (Monica) Hunt of Akron, Ohio; sisters; Shirley Brantley of N. Carolina, Arlene Hunt of Toledo, Ohio, Rosa Hunt, Ella Hunt, Cathy Hunt, and Carla Hunt of Akron, Ohio; mother-in-law, Qwinita Bell; grandchildren, DheMarjhe, Aniya, Amya, Demaries, R''Niyja, Sanye, Egypt, Eryon, and Gabrielle; special friends, Pastor Christipher Wiggins, Min. Marshall Turner, and Min.
