.She was a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Indianapolis, Ind. where she obtained her double Doctorate in Theology and Education. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. RosieMary and Leonard Thomas; beloved husband, Elder Robert Franklin Hale. Survived by sister, Nadine (Ralph) Roebuck; Aunt, (Annagusta Jones, Forkland Alabama); brother and sister-in-law, (Sonny and Betty Hale- Akron, Ohio; daughter, (Rose Maria Blackmon- Atlanta Ga.); son, Robert (Tony) and Kim Hale of Sacramento, Calif.; grandchildren, Ronnel and Tinika Blackmon of Roswell, Ga., Tarrah Hale of Portland, Ore., Ryan Lee Blackmon of Los Angeles, Calif., and Karli Blackmon-Long of Atlanta, Ga.; and two great grandchildren, (Carter Blackmon and Tobias Blackmon); special friends, William (Bill), Ethel Harris and Berline Anderson both of Akron, Ohio; and a large host of friends and family.Dr. Hale was the former First Lady of Ebenezer Apostolic Church, She was a devoted member of First Apostolic Faith Church in Akron, Ohio where she held several positions. Very active in Sunday school and the District Council of the P.A.W. Everyone knew her devotion to the apostolic doctrine and of course her love for "hats".Service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 12 p.m. at First Apostolic Faith Church, 790 Easter Ave., Akron, OH 44307, Elder Larry Nevels Eulogizing. Friends may visit at 10 a.m. until time of service. Condolences may be sent to 840 Kenley Walk Roswell, GA 30076. Interment will be at Mount Peace Cemetery -
