Obituary for Frantz William Sill

Frantz W. "Bill" Sill, 79, of Olathe, Kan., passed away at home on Monday, March 26, 2012. Bill will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bill was born March 20, 1933, in Mountainburg, Ark., to Riley and Margaret (Campbell) Sill. He worked as a machine operator for Hawthorne Melody Dairy Co. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, mother of his children, Lillie (Kane) Sill, sisters, Edna Cupp, Agnus Leakey, Hazel Kincy, brothers, Jesse Sill, Guy Sill and grandson, Eric Sill. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Cyndi Lynn (Wood) Sill, his children, Judy Rider (Gary), Carol Haart, Vicki Hosfelt (Doug), Dave Sill (Carla), Debi Logan (Wade), Dan Sill and Ryan Jimenez (whom he loved like a son), brothers, Glen Sill (Josie), R.B. Sill and Victor Sill (Sue). Left behind to cherish his memory are his 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Burial in Olathe Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
