Obituary for John Thiele

OBITUARY.

John C. Tiehle was born in Germany, June 5, 1842, and died in Olathe, September 11, 1907, age 65 years, 3 months and 6 days.

He immigrated to America in 1864 coming to Roude House, Ill. In 1867 he went to Warrensburg, Mo., where he was married in 1868. His wife died in 1884 leaving him with six small children, four boys and two girls, all of whom survive him. They are John Tiehle, Jr., Warrensburg, Mo.; Julius Tiehle, Parsons, Kansas; Mrs. B. F. Shackleford, LaTour, Mo., Isac Tieble, Sott City, Mo.; Elizabeth Tiehle, Kansas City; Willima Tiehle, Johnstown, Pa. He has one, brother, who lives in Chicago.

His sons, John and Louis, and his daughters, Elizabeth Tiehle and Mrs. Shackleford and Mr. A. J. Kunkel, Kansas City, were present at the funeral.
