Obituary for Edna Clarice Good

Edna Clarice Good, 63, of Olathe, KS., passed away at her home on Friday, June 29, 2012. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Edna was born on June 24, 1949 in Kansas City, MO., to Monroe Leon and Edna Mae (Barnhouse) McGlothlin. 

She was a dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Foreign Wars Olathe Post #2993. She was elected and served every position offered up to District President. She loved her country, and was considered very patriotic. She also enjoyed gardening, landscaping, decorating for the Christmas season, spending time with her family and grandchildren along with collectables from the Wizard Of Oz. 

Edna worked for several years as club room manager for the V.F.W. Post #2993 in Olathe, Kansas and Queen's Price Chopper in Springhill, Kansas. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and everyone who knew her. 

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and father of her two sons: Ray Cleaveland Holly and second husband: Gordon Glen Good. Survivors include the love of her life, her two sons: Danny Ray Holly and his wife Kristine of Olathe, KS., and Tim Leon Holly (Christy) of Overland Park, KS. Left behind to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren: Tyler Allen Holly, Daniel Alexander Holly and Kaitlyn Claire Holly. She will be sadly missed by her two beloved babies, her faithful dog companions: Midget and Lola. 

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. According to her wishes Edna will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband Gordon G. Good.
