Obituary for Dorothy Neoma Brown

Dorothy Neoma Brown, 90, passed away Jan. 17, 2015. She was born July 30, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to Orville and Edna Smith. Dorothy is survived by her son, Mike (Rita) Brown, daughter, Marcia DeCoursey, grandchildren; Timothy DeCoursey, MistyKay Davis, Kristy Mader, great-grandchildren; Derek Mader, RoseMary Mader, William Mader, Matthew Mader, and Reese Davis, brothers; Russell Smith and Marvin Smith, sister, Donna VanGoethem, half-sister, Barbara Thomas. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward, brother, Roe Smith.

A Visitation is set for 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203. A Funeral service is set for 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 24, 2015 also at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
