Death of P.H. Delahunt

Patrick Henry Delahunt, a pioneer resident of Johnson county, passed away at the home of his nephew, charles Delahunt, west of Olathe, August 15 at the age of 81 years and 10 months.

Mr. Delahunt was born in Wexford county, Ireland, in 1848. He came with his parents to this county at the age of two years. the Delahunt's first settled in northern Illinois. He had been a resident of Johnson and Miami counties for sixty years, and was widely known. Mr. Delahunt was married to Mary Ellen Maloney in 1886. Mrs. Delahunt died in 1897.

Funeral services were held last Saturday from St. Paul's Catholic church, Olathe. Burial was in Olathe cemetery, the H.E. Julien company in charge
