William Edward Baker

William Edward Baker died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Baker on West Poplar Monday evening, October 30th. He was 48 years old. His home has been in Tulsa, Okla., for the past two years but at the time of his death he was visiting his parents and intended to make Olathe his home. The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. C. D. Kallstram, 3500 Walnut Street Kansas City, Mo., had charge of the services. Burial was made in the Olathe cemetery.

Mr. Baker was born January 23, 1S74 at the old family home three miles north of Stilwell. He came to Olathe with his parents when nine years of age. He attended the Public Schools in Olathe. He had been married for three years, and had spent the greater part of that time in Tulsa, Okla. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E Baker and son Leland M. Baker of Kansas City and sister, Mrs. W, O, French of Olathe. Other relatives are Mr. and Mrs. George Folmer, Miss Molly Hugglns, Mr. and Mrs. Stirl. Hugglns, Mr. and Mrs. J. O Huggins, Mr. and Mrs. George Huggins of Belton, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huggins and Mr. and Mrs. James Baker of Stilwell.
