On Saturday, November 28, 2015, God welcomed Jasper Benjamin Mitchell "CC", Jr. to his eternal home. He is reunited with his mother, Ida B Frank; father, Jasper B. Mitchell Sr.; son, Benjamin Eric Mitchell; and sister, Alberta Slaughter.Born in Akron on feburary 28, 1947 he resided and worked in both the Akron/Canton communities.Jasper, a son, husband, brother, father and friend will be truly missed by all who had the blessings of knowing him in this lifetime
.He leaves behind, wife Sarah Mitchell; son, Sterling Mitchell; sister, Caroll McDaniels; nephews, Bernard Damon Taylor, Ronald Taylor; along with 15 other loving sons and nine loving daughters and a host of grandchildren other family and friends
.Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 1 p.m. Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, OH 44306 family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Canton Chapel, 729 Cherry Ave., NE Canton, OH 44702 and again Wednesday in Akron beginning at 12 p,m, Interment will be held at Mount Peace Cemetery condolences may be sent to 2196 East Market St., Apt B, Akron, Ohio 44312 -
