Obituary for Margaret H Thompson
Margaret Helen Thompson, 95, of Troy Township, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. Margaret was born on April 11, 1920 in Carrolltown, PA, to Luke and Bertha (Lehmier) Dunlap Margaret is survived by her 6 children, Carol Mendez, Paul Dorsch, Roseann Dorsch, Perry Thompson, Robert Thompson and Audrey Marchetti, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Margaret was one of 10 children and is survived by her sister, Betty Peters of Santa Rosa California and her brother, Dave Dunlap of Canaan, ME. Margaret was quite active at St. Edwards Church in Parkman. She enjoyed quilting, making candy, sewing crafts and helping and taking care of people. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 15150 Center St. Parkman, OH 44080 with Father John Burkley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at Rose Hall (at the church). Burial will follow in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Chesterland. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to UH Hospice, 4510 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. Russell – Sly Family Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.
