Obituary for Allen L. McDonough Allen L. McDonough 71, of Grand Island, passed away on September 29, 2015. He was born in Akron, Ohio and moved here in 2002 from Ravenna, Ohio. Allen was a Baptist, a retired oil worker, and chief engineer in the petroleum industry . He was a member and former Chief of the Sun Lake Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the National Rifle Association and the Florida Sheriff''s Boys Ranch Association. He is survived by his mother Corinne Fleak of Grand Island. Funeral Services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel of Friday, October 2nd at 11 AM, the family will receive friends from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
