Obituary for Richard J Eberle

RICHARD J. EBERLE - Richard J. Eberle, 84, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Glenwillard, Pa., the son of Frederick and Harriet (Kannenberg) Eberle.

Richard retired from the P&LE Railroad in 1991, after 42 years of service. He was a very skilled woodworker and used his talents to share his strong and tireless Christian faith with others. He spent his life faithfully serving the church and was an inspiring example of Christian living.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick, Jack and his twin brother, Donald. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and soul mate of 51 years, Marilyn; William Eberle of Alaska; Joseph (Sunni) Eberle of Florida; Maggie (Raynor) Holmes of Austintown; Joy (Keith) Reising of Indiana; and Ericka (Steve) Hripko of Austintown. He was also a beloved “PaPa” to 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Wedgewood Park Church in Austintown on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. Friends will be received starting at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Canfield. The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Wedgewood Park Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Ohio Cremation and Memorial Society in Niles.
