Obituary for Jacqueline Green

JACQUELINE A. GREEN   

Jacqueline A. Green, 83, passed away early Wednesday evening, Nov. 4, 2015, at Hospice House, with her family by her side. Jacqueline was born Jan. 21, 1932, in Les Sables, D’Olonne, France, was educated in France, and came to America and Youngstown in 1958. While a young woman in France, she worked as a teacher, as a translator for the U.S. Army, and she was a telephone operator and postal employee. After coming to the U.S., she worked at Moyers Pants Factory and for Yoder Cleaning Services, and she was a volunteer for the Austintown School system.

Jackie leaves her husband, Austin J. Green, whom she married Dec. 21, 1956; seven children, Rosemary (Randy) Blakeman of Austintown, Caroline (Jimmy) King of Liberty Township, Janette (Michael) Brown of Columbiana, Mark Green of Austintown, Tina (Joseph) Sollitto of Austintown, April (Richard) Booth of Lewis Center, and David (Sheila) Green of Austintown; a son-in-law, Tim McGinnis of Austintown; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many extended family members in France. A daughter, Vickie McGinnis, a son, Larry F. Green, and a daughter-in-law, Misty Kubik Green, are deceased. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
