Obituary for Clyde J. Kirk
Clyde J. Kirk, age 93, of Wickliffe, was called to the Lord on October 31, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Stephanie Filipowski for 58 years; dear father of Keith, Rita, Kathy, Jim; grandfather of seven; great grandfather of five, brother of Vivian, Peggy, Edwin ''Bud'' Jr. Clyde was born Aug. 3, 1922 in Patton, PA to Edwin Sr., Agnes (Nagle) Kirk, the oldest of four children. He graduated from St. Thomas HS, Braddock, PA in 1941. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Radio Man 2nd Class, during World War II and worked for U.S. Steel in Braddock, PA, and Park Ohio Industries in Cleveland, retiring in 1984. Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave, Wickliffe. Interment at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland following mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where Clyde did weekly Adoration for many years and numerous family sacraments were celebrated -
